We Welcome You to Enquire If you Are Interested In Joining Our Order

At the Knights Templar we welcome sincere men and women from all backgrounds, and Christian traditions who feel called to revive the ancient spirit of chivalry, faith, and service in our time.

The Path to Knighthood starts with those who feel the call to join our Order beginning their journey as Postulants. At the admission ceremony, Postulants wear a red tabard as a symbol of their initial dedication and willingness to learn.

During this period Novices will receive direction, and will be guided by the Chapter Officers. Before progressing further, the Chapter must be fully satisfied of the candidate’s sincerity, dedication, and genuine commitment to upholding the Templar ideals.

After a minimum of twelve months as a Novice, and upon the recommendation of the Chapter, worthy candidates are invested as Knights or Dames. At the solemn investiture, they receive the white cloak bearing the revered Red Cross.  The historic symbol of purity and martyrdom along with a collar of the Order.

A formal Brevet is presented during the ceremonial dinner that follows. Becoming a Knight or Dame is a serious and sacred commitment,  of the Temple and is not a casual affiliation. It is a lifelong vocation that demands integrity, spiritual growth, and active service.

Those who answer this call join a living brotherhood and sisterhood dedicated to upholding the highest ideals of Christian chivalry in the modern world.

If you believe the Templar path is calling you, and you are ready to commit your heart, your honour, and your efforts to this ancient yet timeless Order, we invite you to take the first step.
